Alliance Real Estate
Alliance was founded in 1854, and later became a city in 1889. It is a short drive from Canton, OH, and is often referred to as the Carnation City, which is ultimately where Ohio’s state flower was derived from.
In addition to the historic downtown, Alliance has a flourishing business district that began as a manufacturing area and evolved into a busy retail and consumer site. Shopping and dining opportunities include Kohls, Chipotle, Panera Bread, Lowe’s, and JCPenney, just to name a few.
The city is home to numerous parks, offering residents multiple opportunities for recreation, and holds events consistently throughout the year, one of the most notable being the Carnation Festival. The median home value for the 44601 zip code is $91,500.00, and as of the 2010 census, the population was 22,322.
In addition to Alliance City Schools and Marlington Local School District, which serve students age K-12, the city is also home to Regina Coeli Holy Cross Academy, where students Preschool through 8th grade can receive a Catholic-based education. Higher education opportunities include Stark State and the University of Mount Union.
